The bedroom offers a warm and inviting four-poster queen-size bed, bedside lamps, oversize reading chair with its own reading light, Plasma TV and DVD player and ceiling fan. The Shevlin room has its own en-suite private bath with a large walk in shower, pedestal sink, soft fluffy towels, robes, hairdryer and high-quality soaps and toiletries. This room overlooks our quiet historic Bend, Oregon neighborhood and backyard.
Our Shevlin room is named after Shevlin Park, a cherished Bend park that is about three miles from Bend. This park was donated to the Bend community by the Shevlin-Hixon Company in 1920. The Shevlin-Hixon Company was one of two competing lumber mills that now make up the Old Mill District, which is south of downtown Bend. Tumalo Creek runs through the park and is a perfect location for hiking, jogging, fishing, picnicking and crosscountry skiing. The park offers several trails that will fit whatever activity level you are looking for.
